Emirates & flydubai Announce Expansive Codeshare Agreement, Flight Schedule, & Network Optimization

Emirates flydubai Partnership

Emirates and flydubai have come together with an extensive partnership. This new deal will offer more flights, enhanced connectivity, and increased level of services and travel options. Both the airlines have their main base at Dubai and with this partnership, the flights from Dubai to the world will increase.

The partnership between Emirates and flydubai will be beyond code-sharing. It will also include integrated network collaboration with coordinated flight scheduling. The new partnership model will give guests of flydubai a seamless connectivity to Emirates’ worldwide destinations covering 6 continents. For travellers of later, it opens up flydubai’s robust regional network.

HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Group and Chairman of flydubai, said: “This is an exciting and significant development for Emirates, flydubai, and Dubai aviation. Both airlines have grown independently and successfully over the years. This new partnership will unlock the immense value that the complementary models of both companies can bring to consumers, each airline, and to Dubai.”

Emirates Flights & Fleet

Emirates currently has flights to over 150 destinations across 6 continents. The network covers the bustling New York to the serene Maldives and brimming Indonesia. The airline has one of the largest fleet of 238 aircrafts in service and 201 aircraft ordered.

Flydubai Flights & Fleet

Flydubai has a flight route network of over 100 cities in 5 continents. The airline has only the latest Boeing 737-800 aircrafts in its fleet.
