Kuwait Airways Increases Its Free Baggage Allowance

Kuwait Airways Baggage Allowance

Kuwait Airways has extended its free baggage allowance on Muscat to Kuwait and all its connecting destinations beyond Kuwait to India, the Subcontinent, Far East, Middle East and Europe.

Therefore passengers who are flying from Muscat will now get a free baggage allowance of 2 pieces; each weighing not more than 23 Kg (total 46 Kg) to all destinations. Passengers can utilize the extended promotional free baggage until 31st March 2017.

Kuwait Airways introduced the new baggage policy and has termed the policy as “Baggage made Simple”, which operates the baggage policy on piece concept basis on all its routes. Passengers in economy class are entitled to carry one bag with maximum weight of 23 Kg as free baggage allowance.

Kuwait Airways Baggage Allowance Policy

Further the airline offers two pieces weighing 23 Kg (total 46 Kg) each on selected destinations and the offer was valid until October 31. With immediate effect, Kuwait Airways has extended the baggage allowance to all its destinations both onward and return, allowing all passengers to avail the baggage offer on their return as well.

Further business class passengers will be allowed to carry two pieces each weighing 32 Kg, totaling 64 Kg, instead of its regular baggage allowance of two pieces, each weighs not more than 23 Kg (total 46 Kg).

As a part of the baggage extension and policy change, the price of excess baggage rate is also reduced by allowing more weight at low price, availing the passengers to carry more than two pieces; any excess baggage will be charged on an extra piece basis.

The first excess bag weighing 23kg will be charged RO80 and the second excess bag weighing 23kg will be charged RO130.
